SoCal Lady Bloggers was created to bring together the creative, talented and influential women of Southern California. Our mission is to provide a forum of networking and support, both online and in real life. We accept members to our private Facebook group that are located in Southern California and have a currently maintained blog and are active in social media. We hold the right to deny membership in the group to anyone outside the area or are those only interested in promoting a business. By joining the private group, you are acknowledging that no information will be shared outside of the group. SoCal Lady Bloggers will not tolerate libel, negativity, bullying, rudeness or bad language.

Carolyn West, also known as “temysmom” in social media circles, is the Mom of three daughters, ages 13, 10 and 8, caretaker to a sweet, loving Aussie Shepherd Mix and wife to one very understanding husband.  In her pre-blogging life she had her own interior design business and worked on residential, commercial and hotel projects.  She has written posts and hosted social media-related events related to tween issues. Her personal blog, This Talk Ain’t Cheap, is where she writes about family and social issues, shares recipes and design tips, and reviews books and products.  She is a true Lifestyle Blogger.

Megan leapt into the blogging world to keep writing after having to leave her reporter job. Her current blog, Sunshine Wonderland, is evolving as she finds her way in the Blogoverse. A lifelong resident of the Inland Empire, she married her high school sweetheart, who passed on his love of cars to their toddler son. Her chihuahua, Daisy, excelled at dog obedience courses and has the biggest begging eyes when she sees string cheese. She has had annual passes to Disneyland since college, when she would pick up her boyfriend after work and drive down every two weeks for a date night.

Megan is a member of the Clever Girls Collective and loves yellow, sunflowers, spaghetti, and thinks sunrises are more romantic than sunsets.

Sidney was the doe-eyed wit behind behind My Mother-In-Law is Still Sitting Between Us. She wrote about life, relationships and chronicled the financial and emotional challenges dealing with her partner’s legacy from his mother- a house and multiple storage containers full of it.
