We all talk about wanting to help out our community, but we aren’t always given an easy opportunity to do so. Hopefully we can change that.

We’re really excited to announce that SoCal Lady Bloggers is joining forces with the Latina Lifestyle Bloggers and Blog Trends to help promote their first Fashion & Accessory Swap in Los Angeles on Saturday, June 16th. This event will benefit the Downtown Women’s Shelter. Between 11am – 12pm you can drop off your SWAP items (clothing and accessories) in exchange for tickets that will be used so you can shop the SWAP items at the event. All items not accounted for at the end of the day will be donated to the shelter.

This event will be held downtown at a super secret location. You MUST register for location address.

We are also looking for some volunteers to help out during the SWAP. If you are interested, please leave us a comment and we’ll be in touch.

What do we need? We need clothes & accessories, of course, but we also need hangers, rolling racks, bags, bottles of water and any other treats you might want to donate.

Also… if you aren’t able to attend but have items that you would like to donate, please let us know and we might be able to arrange a pick-up.

Let’s all give back… you’ll feel great about it, I promise!
